This tool is worth its weight in gold! It’s incredibly quiet, and my dogs barely notice when I’m using it. I first tried it on my 20-month-old Yorkie, who’s already familiar with clippers, and she was perfectly fine with it. Her breeder used to wrap her in a towel to trim her nails, and it was always a struggle. I worked on getting her comfortable with me touching and massaging her feet, and yesterday was the big test. Uncovering her nails from her fur took the longest, but once I applied the grinder to her nails, she barely noticed. The Hertzko Long and Short Teeth Comb has been a great tool for grooming my labradoodle between professional grooming appointments.
